Howard Work, 85, a brick contractor in this city since 1907, died Friday at his home, 314 Wayne Ave after sufering a coronary occlusion. He had been in failing health 4 years. Born Dec 6 1868, in Montgomery County, west of Waynetown, Mr. Work was the son of Robert M. and Angeline Fletcher Work. He married Blanche C. Calhoun in 1896. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Hurley of Crawfordsville and two brothers, Calvin of Waynetown and Clinton, Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Hunt & Sons Funeral Home.
